New Years at The Cabin

We have a New Years tradition on Megan's side of the family where we all go to the cabin and spend a few days sledding, snowmobiling and making party hats that we all show off on New Years Eve. It's an absolute riot! A bunch of cousins/family didn't get the chance to be there since a family member was in the hospital. At Matt's request we carried out our New Years celebration as best we could.

Mark, Megan's Dad in his Chief New Year Hat

Megan is having a bad hair day :)

I like airplanes...so I flew with it :) (yes i know it says merry new year)

Tim Megan's Brother in something I dunno how to describe.

Clark, Katie's Husband in Quasi Moto has a runny nose or something.

Katie, (cousin) in her Nun hat.

Amy, Tim's wife in here flower....hat hat.

Griffin megan's brother celebrating New Years Eve with a bright idea. Only his light bulb didn't come on.

Gretchen, Griffin's gf, in here random lawn gnome or something hat.

Greg, Megan's brother...nuff said.

Sonny, (cousin) in his urban elder costume.

Kaenan, Brennan's little boy, in his monster hat. Smartest kid ever.

Alex, Megan's cousin who is hilarious. The Movie Projector Hat

Megan, alex's girlfriend. (Insert hat definition here)

Max in his....I dunno what that is hat.

Gretchen and Griffin being dorks.

Sonny going to pick people up at the stopping point.

Megan going to pick up all the sleds and pull people back up the trail.

Random sledding photo

Building the Luge down below the cabin. New Years night we lit it up with sparklers and everyone went sledding down it.
Seriously such a blast going down this trail. It is close to 1.25 miles long of straight sledding. You get going fast enough that you can't make some turns and you have to bail out.

Our prayers and hearts go out to Matt as he returned home to Arizona on January 3rd for treatment. We wish him a healthy recovery and can't wait to see his smiling face.
