Finally!!!! I am done building the Pergola!!!!
Just an idea of how I mounted the 4x4 post on each edge.
After getting all the 4x4 posts and footings done. Then it was time for the Sand/Gravel.Materials: 2x6x12 Board = 16
2x4x10 Posts = 4
1 Ton of Crushed Granite = 3 in for 100sq ft
1/2 Ton of Sand = 1.5 in for 100sq ft
135 - 8x2x16 Pavers
16 - 50lb bags of Concrete
I think the hardest part was just removing all the dirt. Here in Arizona we have clay...which acted like concrete to my Rototiller rented from Home Depot. We will add some type of curtain so that in the summer when the sun is directly overhead we can enjoy a bit of shade.
