Welcome to our Blog. This is my first attempt at this so NO LAUGHING! :) Megan and I have decided that it's time to start documenting alot of whats going on with our lives and I figured this was the perfect place to do it.
Well I figured I would first start off with a little intro of where we live. This is our beautiful home that we bought right before we got married. Talk about being committed lol. It was built in 1939, has an apartment in the basement that was originally built with the house. An upper level that was finished later which is where the master bedroom is and is very vintage. Alot of the woodwork and design is still in its original state. We have done a ton of work to it on the inside so far and and slowly making our way to the landscaping but we just have so much to do.
This is the living room on the main floor. Megan spied the colors for paint out of one of her favorite magazines when we were planning to paint and do finishing work. The south wall you can't see if a matte black which turned out great as an accent wall. We've updated most of the electrical which was serious old-school and let me tell you that was fun.
Fun with pictures frames in the hallway after we painted and added lighting.
A quick shot of the work we did in the bathroom. Very similar colors to the hallway, updated lighting and faucets, blinds, shelving and such.
A little shot of the backyard that we have been trying to get landscaped correctly and the grass growing.
Finally got around to do the dining area with some paint and new chairs and table.
